Traffica is a collection of electronic hardware and software relying on artificial intelligence and deep learning that could monitoring the image and recording violations at unauthorized speeds of all vehicles at a speed of 240 km per hour, according the instruction of Police of Iran NAJA.
In addition to recording speeding violations, the “Traffica” system provides important key capabilities such as registration license plates of all passing vehicles, detecting stolen vehicles, including cars, buses, trucks, trailers, etc., at all hours of the day and night in different climates.
Capability to recognize all number plates with an accuracy of more than 98.5%
The Traffica camera is designed and manufactured in a way for launching only two power cable comes out at the end of camera. As soon as the network and the power start working, camera record high speed violation.
All the required equipment, including 2 cameras for color and black and white imaging with specialized lenses and also, 14 LEDs and infrared projectors and processor inside the camera box are integrated and all in one.
Traffica" camera is equipped with OCR image processing algorithm that has the ability to read all kinds of national license plates of Iran, temporary registration number plate, etc. with a very high accuracy of 98.5%. This algorithm is based on a neural network that has been manufactured and developed by the specialists of the Silk Road Traders Company and is unique in Iran in terms of license plate recognition accuracy.
Real time detection of infringements with OCR on board
To measure average speed, it is essential to identify vehicles at the beginning and end of the route. Recognizing number plates is one of the good ways to identify vehicle and measure the average speed. Number plate recognition cameras are installed at several areas along the route, and by recording the vehicle traffic time in front of each of them, it is possible to calculate the average vehicle speed between two consecutive points
All vehicle information including date, time, place of violation, type and code of violation along with two color and black and white photos of each violation is prepared by the "Traffic" camera to enforce the law, in Rahvar Iranian Traffic Police and a text will be sent to violetears to inform.

The housing (case) of the traffic camera with IP65 degree of external protection is designed and manufactured by the Silk Road Traders Company. The camera case is made of aluminum with electrostatic powder paint.
